Permanent makeup is the injection of a pigment into the upper layers of the dermis using a special needle in order to accentuate, highlight, correct, improve some facial features or imitate makeup. As a result of the procedure, a kind of indelible makeup is obtained, the effect of which lasts for about five years, fading over time.
